Usually, the size of the bellows refers to the nominal diameter of the bellows （the shortcode is DN or NB). This size is based on the nominal pipe size, because the bellows are fit onto pipes for connection. The nominal diameter of the bellows corresponding to different pipe size standards is the same, but the inner diameter of the respective bellows is different.
